Jeroen van der Wel

Born in The Hague in 1987, he began his violin studies at Anneke Schildt in Amstelveen music school. He continued his studies at Coosje Wijzenbeek then with Herman Krebbers from 1997 to 2004. He completed his studies at the Conservatory in The Hague with Vera Beths. He receives a diploma of excellence with the highest marks for her performance of "Third Sonata" by George Enescu.

Jeroen van der Wel has performed as soloist with various orchestras.

He recently made his debut with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Limburg, where he performed "Tzigane" by Maurice Ravel and "Poem" by Ernest Chausson. Alongside his career as a violinist, Jeroen van der Wel reveals himself as a composer and arranger, he has written works for solo violin and for sets.
